Kay was born in South Charleston April 22, 1950 to the late Grover Shamblin and Mary O'Connor Shamblin. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her siblings, Donald Shamblin, Linda Young, and Annie French; and sister-in-law, Tammy Shamblin.
Kay was a member of the Nitro Church of God, and was an avid reader. Above all, Kay loved her grandchildren, who will miss her deeply.
Left to cherish her memory are loving son, Marc Casto (Tiffany) of Sandy Hook, KY; brothers, Gary Shamblin (Vicky), and Dale Shamblin; sister, Vicky Shamblin; grandchildren, Kristin and Clay Casto of Sandy Hook, KY.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV with Pastor Andy Shamblin officiating.
Gathering of family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
