Diana Sue Boggs, 67, of Cross Lanes, passed away, July 5, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born July 3, 1950 in Charleston, the daughter of Betty Ellen Johnson and the late Romie Earl Johnson. Diana was a retired nurse employed with Kanawha County Schools. She worked at Point Harmony and several other local schools. Diana loved the outdoors, especially at the family camp, beach trips with her “Beach Chicks”, and enjoying life. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend that will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her mother she is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Chuck, son, Chuck Boggs, III and his wife Karie, and grand dog “Stella Rae” of Nitro, brother, Jerry Johnson and his wife Donna, of Hurricane, brother in law, Fred Harmon and his wife, Susie, of FL, mother in law, Rosie Boggs, of Charleston, niece, Krista Johnson, and nephew, Steven Johnson, both of Hurricane. Celebration of Diana’s life will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Nancy Didway officiating. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to HospiceCare.
