Liz was a devoted mother, wife, grandmother, and sister.
Liz was born June 28, 1932 in Old Scary, WV to the late Roy Moss and Myrtle Taylor Moss. In addition to her parents, Liz was preceded in death by her husband, Burley E. Van Meter; daughter-in-law, Toni Van Meter; sisters, Ruby Norris, and Leona Daniels; and a brother, Hank Moss.
Left to cherish her memory are loving children, Michael Van Meter, Timothy Van Meter (Ann), Sheila McClanahan (Tanus); grandchildren, Sam Van Meter, David Van Meter, and Jason Van Meter; brothers, Rodney Moss, and Harold Moss (Connie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV with Pastor Mark Moss officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at Noon on Monday at the funeral home.
