She was born on December 14, 1961 in Charleston the daughter of Ray and Thelma Harris Bailey. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother in law, Mark Christian.
She lived most of her life on Rocky Fork. She was a 1981 graduate of Nitro High School. Glenda was an employee of LKM. She was an animal lover especially dogs and loved to crochet, do needlework, watching game shows and play bingo. she was a kind and gentle hearted that will be greatly missed by her sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her sisters, Karen Lemon (Bill), of Cross Lanes, Brenda Miller (Larry), of Rocky Fork , and Jeannie Christian, of Cross Lanes and brothers Garland Bailey (Janet), of Cross Lanes, Larry Bailey (Marsha), of Cross Lanes, and Robert Hardin (Jennifer), of North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Glenda's life will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
