Janice Ileene Wilson, 86, of St. Albans, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016. She was born January 31, 1930 and was a daughter of the late Shelly and Vida Scites. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was a retired schoolteacher for Kanawha County Schools at Lakewood Elementary, St. Albans. In addition to her parents, Janice was also preceded in death by her brother, Shelly G. Scites, Jr., son, Donald G. Wilson and grandson, Joseph L. Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Ishmael Wilson; sister, Jean Cassidy; sons, Edward (Beverly) Wilson, Ronald (Karen) Wilson and Jackie Wilson; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Casdorph and Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Shirley Wayne Keener officiating. Burial will follow at Yeager Cemetery, McComas Ridge in Lincoln County. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday, September 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
