He was born January 5, 1945 in Princeton, the son of Frederick Houston and Louise Houston Fisher, whom preceded him in death.
Larry was retired from Dupont after 22 years of service. He was a US Army veteran and a member of North Charleston Baptist Church. Larry was an avid car fan and loved working on them.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mildred, sons, Larry Houston, Jr. (Pamela), and Kenneth Houston, all of Sissonville, grandchildren, Derek, Dustin and Nicole, brothers, Fred, of FL, Allen, of SC, and Randy, of Dupont City and sisters, Diane Hensley, of TX, and Helen Ball, of Teays Valley.
Celebration of Larry’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home, Cross Lanes. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes with Military Graveside Rites conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
