Rick, Robin, Wendy and Randy, there are no words that can adequately express our sorrow and the grief you must be experiencing. However, please know that all of you are in our prayers.
We have been recalling all the wonderful experiences our families shared while we lived in Cross Lanes and one of the things we remembered involved the fact that our Mark, Paula and David are the same age as Robin, Wendy and Randy and attended school together. We recalled that, when Robin and Mark were in school, the parents knew what was happening because Robin would share the news. When Paula and Wendy (being girls) were in school together, we knew what what happening because they reported everything. However, when David and Randy were together in school, they being boys reported nothing!
We hope you can find solace in celebrating all the moments you spent with Leila. God bless you and grant you comfort and peace.

Leila was a special friend who always had a smile on her face, regardless of the pain. I remember so well when we realized we had been acquaintances in grade school. After living many miles apart in several states, what a joy to discover our history. I treasured her friendship and she will never be forgotten.
