Mayme Elizabeth Allison, 65 of Elkview formerly of St. Albans, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. She was born on February 27,1951 to the late Herbert and Fannie (Dickenson) Allison. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by, sisters, Mary Thompson and Zella Gates; brother, Charles “Dude” Roberts. Mayme is survived by her son, John and daughter-in-law Leslie Shultz of Elkview; granddaughter, Whitney Shultz also of Elkview; brother, Bill Allison of Monroe, NC; sister, Sissy Wollard of Scott Depot; niece, Tammy Hively of Leon. Funeral service will be held at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 1:00 pm with Celebrant H.R. Whittington officiating. Burial will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
