She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Opal Johnson Whittington, husband, James Moses Adkins, children, Jim Adkins, and Natchie Adkins, great granddaughter, Ellie Terry, and sister, Violet Miles.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Chelsey Terry, of Teays Valley, great grandchildren, McKenna Terry and Marshall Terry, brothers, Leonard and Kenneth Whittington.
Celebration of Sandra’s life will be 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Rev. Melissa Pratt officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mt. Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 11 until time of service at the funeral home.
