Sandra Kaye Black, 60, of St. Albans, passed away December 31, 2014. She was born June 8, 1954 in Winifrede and grew up in Winifrede and St. Albans. She was a daughter of the late James and Ruth Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bernard “Stevie” Black, Ronald L. Black and Bernard Steve Black; sisters, Mary Milam, Lucy Brammer and Susan Ward; and infant brothers, James, Charles and Joe. Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother. She lived her life to the fullest and was known to never have met a stranger. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Andrea Angelic Wilson, Mitra Lynn Hughes, Charity Dawn Hughes and Cevan Duane Triplett; 14 grandchildren; brothers, Jerry and Kenneth Black, both of St. Albans and Richard Black of Leon; sisters, Angela Searls and Deborah Osborn, both of St. Albans, and Connie Mahoney and Patsy Abbot, both of Florida; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 8, 2014 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans.
