Franklin was born on January 14, 1944 in Hartford, CT to Jacob and Lillian (Dramin) Fruchtman. He moved to Westchester, NY in 1976 and was a self-employed tax attorney and estate planner. He was an avid automobile enthusiast and loved traveling around to the local races and auto shows. He was a caring and giving man who always put others first and will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janyce (Piscioneri) Fruchtman, sons and daughter-in-law Jason and Michele (Brideau) Fruchtman and Joshua Fruchtman, mother Elaine Kaufmann, sister and brother-in-law Suzanne (Fruchtman) and Carl Peterson, brother and sister-in-law Steven and Joanne (Depew) Fruchtman and his 5 beautiful granddaughters, whom spending time with was his favorite pastime. He will also be remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Lillian (Dramin) Fruchtman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 5 to 8pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Monday, February 12th also at the Funeral Home with burial following at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, NY.
Memorial donations in memory of Franklin can be made to his favorite charities: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
