Lan passed on May 1, 2023. Survived by her siblings, Lai Ngo Citron, Giang (Kim Anh Bui) Nguyen, Duoc (Kim Oanh) Nguyen, and Hai Nguyen; and two nieces, one nephew, and nine great-nieces/nephews whom she dearly loved and cared for as if her own.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gary A. Hendrix; partner, Michael R. Ward; brother-in-law, Sidney Citron, and her mother and father, Ngo Thi Huong and Nguyen Khac Han.
Lan met and married her husband in Vietnam. As a young woman she moved to Hawaii, forming a community of friends. Later she settled in Cortlandt Manor, NY, where she lived for nearly 50 years. Lan was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and friend. Her devotion to her family, easy laugh, and generous heart will be truly missed.
The family will have a private service and tribute on May 12, 2023.
