Nicolina Mickey "Mickey" Streany

Nicolina (“Mickey”) P. Streany of Croton-on-Hudson, NY passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the age of 88. She was born to Paul and Carmella Cignarale on May, 8, 1926 in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Mickey is survived by her loving sons Joseph (Diane) and Frank (Marianne) Streany, adored grandchildren JoAnn, Diana (Carl DeMarco, Sr.) and Joseph Streany, Jr., Gina Gomes (Davide) and Kristine Jacks (Andrew), great-grand children Makenzie, Garrett, Emery, Carl Jr., Daniella, Angelo and Nicholas. Aunt Mick is also survived by several cherished nieces and nephews. Mickey was predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph in 1974 as well as her dear siblings, Carmen and Michael Cignarale, Mary Eggelston, Concetta Maroth, Grace and Rose Cignarale, Rachel Lambert, and Josephine Neff.

Mickey was an avid sports fan of which she loved the Yankees, loved playing Bingo and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014, from 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 41 Grand St., Croton-on-Hudson, NY 10520. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Monday, December 29, 2014 at Holy Name of Mary Church, Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
