Thomas J. Bradley of Croton-on-Hudson, New York passed away on January 8, 2021. He was 79 years old. The youngest of seven boys, Tom was born on September 12th 1941 to John Bradley and Jean Collins Bradley in the Bronx. Growing up, he attended St. Luke’s School as well as Roosevelt High School. Afterward he enlisted in the US Army where he served with the USA 1st Infantry Division and attained the rank of SP-4. He went on to later continue serving his fellow troops by working at the Montrose Veteran’s Hospital, which is where he retired from and where he also served as a volunteer assisting non-mobile veterans to attend Mass on Sundays. Tom was a devoted student of history, particularly 20th Century history and the Civil War.
Tom is survived by his brothers; Robert Bradley of Laurel, NY and James Bradley of Brewster, NY as well as many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A private interment of his ashes will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. Thomas will be dearly missed by all those who knew him and by a Country thankful for his service.
