

She was born Sept. 28, 1923, in Hebron, to Victor and Lillian (Schmidt) Judson. She married Lawrence Freeman on Oct. 17, 1942, in Greenwood.
She was a lifelong resident of McHenry County until 1976, when she and her husband retired to Sun City, Ariz. She resided there until recently returning to the McHenry County area. She was a member of Greenwood Methodist Church and the Sun City, Ariz., bike club.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty (Charles) Freeman-Boots; her grandchildren, Bryan Boots, Ashley Boots, Stephanie (Al) Ortillano and Alicia (Anthony) Crowther; six great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Jim (Loretta) Judson and Lynn (Joyce) Judson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; her son, Howard Freeman; her parents; and her brother, Bill Judson.
The family will greet friends from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. memorial service Wednesday, May 11, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
