

She was born November 12, 1922 in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin to Henry and Ada (Scott) Vincent. Betty was raised on a farm in Twin Lakes and went to school in Wilmot. During WWII Betty was a penpal with a British Airman Geoffrey Goulding. At the end of the war she went to visit him and they were soon after married on October 16, 1948.
She worked at Oak Mfg. in Crystal Lake. She enjoyed singing and baking. She was very involved in TOPS and loved to read.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Robert) Krejci, Kathleen Freund, Julia (Robert) Blazek; her grandchildren, David (Julie) Stone, Heather (Gregg) Bonti, Kristina (Gene) Krause, Jason (Jennifer) Krejci, Dan (Jennifer) Freund, Matt (Tammy) Freund, Mandy Freund, Justin (Genevieve) Freund, Katie Blazek, and Dan Blazek; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Geoffrey.
Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm on Friday, August 29 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. The service will be at 1pm.
Interment will be in Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
