

Dean Zelasco, 55, of Crystal Lake passed away September 13, 2015 at the University of Chicago with his family at his side. He was born April 18, 1960 in Oak Park to John and Rosemary (Johnson) Zelasco. On August 31, 1996 he married Audrey Johnson.
Dean worked as an electrician for many different companies. He enjoyed golfing with friends, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He was very active with his kids’ sports. He helped in coaching the Raiders and the Wizards. He attended every one of his sons’ wrestling meets, football games, and baseball games, and he went to his daughters’ cheerleading competitions. He also loved the Chicago Blackhawks. Dean was also a member of the Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; his children, Jordan, Dean Jr., Michael, Autumn, Gianna; his siblings, John (Mary) Zelasco, Theresa (Bill Mundo) Zelasco, Mark (Heather) Zelasco, Ron Zelasco, Joseph Zelasco, and Mary (Brian) Trinco; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9pm on Wednesday, September 16 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. Entombment will be at 11am on Thursday, September 17 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside.
