Frances M. Stolzman, 94, of Crystal Lake died Friday February 4, 2011 at home. She was born November 6, 1916 in Chicago to Frank and Victoria (Sabarnia) Gawel. She married Michael Lycholat, they lived in Park Ridge for many years before moving to Crystal Lake. He preceded her in death in 1982. Later, she married Roy Stolzman, he preceded her in death in 1996. She was active with Senior Services in Crystal Lake and enjoyed dancing, cards, reading, and puzzles. She had quite a collection of purses and hats.
She is survived by her son Gerald (Cindy) Lycholat, step-son Roy (Nancy) Stolzman Jr, brother Alfred Gawel. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Michael, and second husband Roy.
Friends may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:30 pm on Wed Feb 9th at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Interment will be private. Memorials may be given to Senior Services, 110 W Woodstock St Ste B Crystal Lake, IL. 60014.
