Laurine M. Roberts

She was born March 9, 1926 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Clarence and Vera (Boren) Bobay. She graduated from Auburn High School in 1943. Following graduation she worked at Messenger Corp. until her she was married. On February 14, 1947 she married Verlin Roberts in Auburn, Indiana. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Laurine resided in Auburn from 1941 to 1965 when she and her husband moved to Crystal Lake, Illinois where they raised their five children. Laurine was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Crystal Lake.

Laurine is survived by her five children, Barry Roberts, Ronald (Phyllis) Roberts, Kenneth (Marjorie) Roberts, Kathy (Steve) Smith, and Jodie (Eric) Keating; her 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin in 1982; her parents; her sister, Camilla Bobay; and her brother, Alfred Bobay.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11am on Tuesday, January 3 at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake. There will be a service at 11am.

Interment will be in Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
