Meagan was an incredibly beautiful woman whose life will forever be remembered as an inspiration of love, faith, hope, courage and fun. Even though she valiantly fought this battle with cancer for many years it never diminished her strong courageous spirit, her will to live and her faith in God never wavered. She walked through every challenge with dignity, strength and grace. The love and prayers of family, her huge network of friends, neighbors and co-workers were a treasured gift in her life. That outpouring of love and support brought her much comfort and carried her through many hard times. Meagan was one of those rare people that despite her own struggles, never complained and was genuinely interested in the lives of others. She was always there to reach out to offer love, help and words of encouragement. She would light up the room when she walked in and that beautiful light shined through her amazing smile. The motto she lived by was “Kindness Rocks!” Meagan loved passionately and lived her life courageously. She loved God, she loved life, she loved her family and people. She served at her church, Willow Creek, where she was a member for the past 12 years. She was also part of the Lou Malnati's Pizza “family” and had been a server until her last bout with cancer a year ago.

It was there she met the love of her life and on May 4th, 1990, she married her best friend and husband, John Sunde.
