Richard Alan Oker

Richard Alan Oker, 80, passed away peacefully in his bed on October 17, 2020. He was born April 16, 1940 to Herman and Edna Oker. He was the devoted and loving father of Rena Ann (Joseph) Giannola, Alan Richard Oker and the late Richard “Ricky” Alan Oker Jr. He was the cherished grandfather of Malayna Muns, Teija Muns (Anthony Sheehan), Alan Jr. Oker, and Courtney (Alex) Race. Great-grandfather of Nakiya Chapman, Aeva Muns-Sheehan, Evie Race, and Olivia Race. Dear brother, uncle and friend to many. Rick enjoyed the great outdoors; he hunted, he fished, he trapped and he spent many years in Alaska with his 4 legged, best friend, Max. While in Alaska he prospected and made jewelry from gold he prospected. He was an artistic outdoorsman, who lived his life on his own terms. He was a proud Army Veteran. Services are private.
