Richard C. Sieg

He was born June 27, 1938 in Blue Island to William and Eleanore (Weissmann) Sieg. On December 9, 1967 he married Betty Teach in Roseland.

Richard had been a resident of Lakewood for 26 years. Before his retirement he worked for Quaker Oats in Barrington in the Gatorade division. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his dogs. He also was passionate about golfing, he even worked at a golf course as a ranger.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; his daughter, Suzanne (Dino) Falaschetti; and his brother, Robert Sieg.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6pm on Sunday, July 1, at Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue from 10am to the 11am funeral service on Monday, July 2, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Ave, Crystal Lake.

Interment will be private.
