Roy G. Lundgren, 67, of Crystal Lake died Friday August 26, 2011 at Centegra Hospital – Woodstock. He was born January 3, 1944 in Chicago to Gunnar and Hulda (Johnson) Lundgren. He served with the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. On March 4, 1967 he married Valerie Stevens in Chicago.
He is survived by his wife Valerie, children; Cheryl Lyman, James (Lisa) Lundgren, Wayne (Arleen) Lundgren, Beth (Seung) Cha, and Charles Lundgren, 13 grandchildren; Alex, Katie, Aaron, Sarah, Sam, Charlotte, Zachary, Caitlin, Caleb, Alina, Matthew, Benjamin, and Kiersten. He is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Rich.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Tues. Aug 30th at Querhammmer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave. Crystal Lake. Interment with military honors will be on Wed Aug 31st at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
