Ben and My son Grant, were friends, classmates and teammates on the football field. Ben was tough, strong and determined. He was a great friend to many people. RIP Ben!



Ben, you were the most beautiful soul that I've ever met. You kept me laughing and you reminded me of all the amazing things in the world I had forgotten existed until I met you. I enjoyed spending the time with you that I did and Mesa absolutely loved you from the start. I will miss your smile and the way your eyes lit up when something made you happy. I will hold on to all of our memories together. Thank you for my tour of Helen and taking me to beautiful places. I'll never forget the new outlook you gave towards myself and life. I'm going to miss football season with you. I won't ever forget who you were at heart. This still doesn't seem real even after trying to process it all day. I keep thinking I'll wake up and it will all be just a bad dream. I always thought there would be more time. I made you a promise when you went out of town months ago that I would look after your mom, and I will continue to honor that. I promise. Fly high. You're so missed and gone far too soon.
