Bobby was born in Bremen, Alabama on April 21, 1934 to Horace and Stella Morgan Waldrip. He was a graduate of Cold Springs High School and St. Bernard College, served in the US Army, was a member of Sharon Grove United Methodist Church, and was a longtime local businessman and partner in the Waldrip-Blocher Company.
He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-four years, Ann Chatham Waldrip; sister, Jewel (Judy) Waldrip Graves; and his parents.
Survivors are his daughter, Susan Waldrip Dendy of Birmingham; son-in-law, Richard Riddick Dendy of Birmingham; and granddaughter, Lily Jordan Dendy of Boston, Massachusetts.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow services in Shedd Cemetery in the Trimble community.
