C. T. "Buddy" Kinard

Mr. C.T. “Buddy” Kinard of Hanceville Alabama passed away on March 23, 2011 at his residence at the age of 66. Mr. Kinard was born in Bessemer Alabama on July 21, 1944 to Choc and Grace Lee Pair Kinard. Mr. Kinard graduated from Hueytown Highland School and after graduation , he joined the United States Navy and served in Viet Nam and also in Desert Storm. Mr. Kinard retired from the Navy with 20 years service and he was a member of American Legion Post #15 . He worked at McGriff Industries as a mechanic. Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 27, 2011 at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Center Hill Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors are: Wife of 35 years: Donna Rigdon Kinard of Hanceville, Alabama, 2 Daughters: Dusty (Curtis) Batemon of Hanceville, Alabama, Michelle (Jack) Bean of Athens, Alabama, 1 Son: Chad Kinard of Cullman, Alabama, 2 Sisters: Gail (Doug) Jones of Quinton, Alabama, Betty Head of Douglasville, Ga., 2 Grandchildren: Kylie Rae and Kady Lynn Batemon. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Cullman County. Visitation will be on Saturday March 26, 2011 at Moss Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
