

Funeral Services for Mr. Carroll Gray, age 75 of Cullman, will be held on Monday, July 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel , with Bro. Coggins officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Mr. Gray was born on December 15, 1937 to the late James Harvey Gray and Julia Hancock Gray. He passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five half-brothers and six half-sisters.
Carroll retired from Axis Technology with 34 years of service; He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was also the past Master for both the Trimble Masonic Lodge # 739 and the Vinemont Masonic Lodge #562; he was a member and past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star, Vinemont Chapter #534; and a Shriner of the Zamora Temple and the current President of the Cullman Shrine Club. Carroll was also known to many as “Daddy Carroll” and as “Sport” to the grandchildren.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of 54 Years – Mary Bradley Gray, three 3 – Daughters – Elizabeth “Lisa” (Luke) Ellerbe of Killeen, TX; Lori (Steve) Letson of Huntsville and Lynn Kelley of Warsaw, IN; three 3- Sisters – Betty Ellis of Tifton, GA; Elouise Gardiner of Beverly Hills, FL and Bell Grimes of Dunedin, FL; one Brother – Gene Gray of Enigma, GA; six 6 – Grandchildren – Jeremy (Jennifer) Loyd, Adam (Jessica) Loyd, David (Sophia) Burke, Katie Letson, Kallie Letson and Briana Kelley; four 4 – Great-Grandchildren – David Burke, Jr.; Derek Burke, Jaeden Loyd and Daniel Burke; a Special Brother-in-Law – Rev. Olan Bennett; a host of Nieces & Nephews; his Family by Love – “The Chambers Bunch” Tommy & Linda, Chris & Jennifer, Grayson, Katie, Jenna, Jason & Alyse, Haley, Will, Jefferey & Devin Evans and Trey & Emma Evans; and Special Ones – Faye McGatha & Family and John (Marnel) Bradley
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
