Chase O'Neal Winfrey

Funeral services for Chase O’Neal Winfrey, age 19 of Hanceville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel.

Chase was born on May 16, 1993 in Cullman. He passed away at his residence on Monday, March 12, 2013. He was known for lending a helping hand whenever asked. Working hard at whatever he was doing, was a virtue, and using his hands either in construction or solving a problem. Chase played football at Holly Pond Middle School and at Fairview High School for a couple of years, and enjoyed singing in the school choir. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Charles & Geraldine Winfrey.

Survivors include his Mother – Shelly (Phillip) Pitts; his Father – Bryon O’Neal Winfrey; two 2 - Sisters – Madison Winfrey and Erica Watts; Grandmother – Jean Kelso; Grandfather – Roger Turner and Grandparents - Billy & Ruby Ann Pitts; one Great-Grandmother – Mary Frances Gibbs; one Niece – Crimson Watts and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Other Family & Friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
