Edna Ruth Puleo

Edna Ruth Haynes Puleo lost her battle with cancer. She passed away at home surrounded by her family when she went to be with her Lord and Savior. Ruth was the matriarch of the family. She was the last survivor of a family of seven sisters (The Haynes Girls).

Mrs. Puleo was preceded in death by her husband; Julio Puleo, grandson; Louis Anthony Diaz, sisters; Marie Harbin of Anniston, Faye Handley of Grand Blanc Michigan, Melba Summerville of Rome Ga., Doris Smith, May Bentley, Wynell Robertson, and Aliene Evans all of Cullman and her parents; Eddy Loe & Eunice Fay Vinson Haynes.

She is survived by two daughters; Rebecca (Louis) Diaz and Diane (Danny) LaPlante, son; Harold Ray (Martha) Booker, Jr., five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 at 12:30 from Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Larry Duke and James Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 4 - 6 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to thank Omega Hospice and Jodi English for the loving care provided.
