He was preceded in death by his parents: Wilton & Jonnie Dixon; brothers: Bill Dixon and Jennings Dixon and his sister, Emma Jean Tindal.
Frank is survived by his wife, Peggy McEwen Dixon; son, Wade Dixon (Tammy); daughters: Kim Cummins (John) and Beth Henderson (Jamie); grandchildren: Mary Ellen Dixon, Dalton Henderson, Jack Dixon and Reese Henderson; sisters: Sally Harper, Marion Parmer, and Jonnie Myrl Pouncey; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He served in the Navy and went on to be a policeman in Montgomery, AL and was a Captain in the AL. State Troopers. He also drove a truck for Walmart and served in the Army National Guard, part time. Once he retired, he and his wife Peggy of 61 years settled on a 40-acre farm near Holly Pond, AL.
He was a dear husband, father, Pop and friend and will be greatly missed.
The celebration of Frank’s life will be Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 A.M.
