She is preceded in death by her parents Herman Speer and Louise Schmidt Speer and her husband Joseph Schaffer.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Schaffer; sons David Schaffer and Tim Schaffer and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Ms. Schaffer will be at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM with rosary at 7:30 PM. The celebration of Ms. Schaffer’s life will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church with burial to follow at Catholic Cemetery of Cullman.
