Mr. Frank Ecklund

Mr. Frank Ecklund of Madison Alabama passed away on October 22, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital at the age of 65. He was born in Brooklyn New York on September 9, 1946 to Joseph and Marie Glanz Ecklund. After his birth, his family moved to Folly Beach South Carolina where he lived all of his childhood. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Asbury Methodist Church in Madison Alabama with Pastor Alan Weathersby officiating. Mr. Ecklund will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon until service time. Interment will be at 4:00 P.M. at Cullman City Cemetery with Air Force military honors.

Survivors are: Wife: Charlotte Ecklund, 2 Daughters: Suzanne (Christopher) Coe, Kelly (Kevin) Miller, 3 Brothers: Joseph (Bonnie) Ecklund, David (Davida) Ecklund, Michael Ecklund, 2 Sisters: Elizabeth (Rudy) Clarke, Louise (William) Freedle, Grandchildren: Katy and Landon Coe, a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the church on the day of the service.

In lieu-of-flowers, donations maybe made to the Asbury United Methodist Church Building Fund or to The American Cancer Society.
