James Colonel Hartline

Mr. Hartline was born in Tiltonsville, OH to the late Colonel and Lola Pearl (May) Hartline on October 20, 1928. He died in Dearborn on July 30, 2022. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Adina Faye (Tucker) Hartline.

He moved to Michigan in 1950, where he met Faye Tucker. Jim and Faye were married in 1957. They resided in Dearborn, Michigan where they raised two sons. Jim was a dedicated Ford Motor Company employee for over 43 years. Upon retiring in 1990, Jim and Faye moved to Sun City, California.

Beloved brother of the late Charles Henry Hartline and the late Dorothy (Hartline) Finney.

Jim is survived by his two sons, David (Barbara) of Plymouth, MI and John (Cynthia) of Dearborn, MI; and grandchildren, Henry and Heather.

A graveside service with military honors will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
