James Richard Walker of Cullman passed away on March 19, 2017 at his residence at the age of 81. He was born in Cullman on June 18, 1935 to Eddie and Mary Bullard Walker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Son: David Hale, Brother: Benny Walker. Mr. Walker loved to work on Volkswagen cars and he was known as “The Volkswagen Man.”
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Moss Funeral Home Chapel at 3:30 P.M. with Rev. Grady Chandler officiating. Interment will be in Emeus Cemetery.
Survivors are: Wife: Freda Joyce White Walker, Daughter: Angela Miller, Sons: Greg Hale, Richard Walker, Allen Walker, Evan Walker, Sisters: Janice Quattlebaum, Marty Spicer, Charlotte Kilgore, Brothers: Kenneth Walker, Eddie “Pete” Walker, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Moss Funeral Home from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
