Jim “Scooter” was born January 5, 1966 to James Wendell West and Pat Spradlin Kirkpatrick. Jim was a kind, loving husband, dad and son who loved to hunt and enjoyed being with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wendell West; grandparents, J.C. and Alma West and James H. “Poke” and Doris Spradlin and two uncles, Jerry and Dennis Spradlin.
Jim is survived by his wife, Donna "Puddin" West; daughter, Katelyn Elizabeth "Katiebug" West; mother, Pat Kirkpatrick; stepfather, John Kirkpatrick; stepmother, Rosie West; two sisters, Kimberly West Johnston and Kelly West (Bradley) Askew ; nieces and nephews, Chase Askew, Erin Askew (Kyle) Hester and Bethany Baker and a host of hunting buddies, childhood friends and work friends; too many to mention by name.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 2pm at The Paddock Vue at Stonebridge Farms.
