Mrs. Jean Stapler, 82, of Baileyton Alabama passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born on August 3, 1933 in Marshall County Alabama to William Albert and Arizona Boyd Chambers. She was married to Curtis B. Stapler for 65 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother: J.B. Adams.
Funeral services will be held at Lystra Baptist Church located at 1378 Co. Rd. 1592, Baileyton Alabama 35019 at 4:00 P.M on Sunday, August 16, 2015 with Rev. Chris Reaves, Rev. Greg Lee and Bro. Justin Stapler officiating. Interment will be in Lystra Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Stapler will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 4:00 P.M.
She is survived by: Husband: Curtis B. Stapler, Sons: Thomas (Cathy) Stapler of Baileyton Alabama, Michael (Jerri) Stapler of New Hope Alabama, Jimmy (Karen) Stapler of Clearwater Florida, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lystra Baptist Church on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
