A beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother who is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jane Joyner, her brother Steve Joyner, her son Michael West and her husband Henry Alan Wood. Survivors include her sister, Debora Thrasher, her brother Isaac Joyner, her son David West, her step children William (Christina) Wood, Margaret (Tim Johnson) Wood, Richard Wood, Sam Wood, Lea (Brett) Howell, Hal (Tahara) Wood, Bess Wood and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 3 pm - 6 pm at Aldersgate Church in Dora, Alabama, with Rev. Sammy Hodges officiating. The church address is 1975 State Hwy 78 Dora, Alabama 35062.
