Mrs. Mary Lee “Christine” Wood Hopper of Cullman passed away on July 16, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born in Cullman on January 3, 1931 to W.A. and Ada Skinner Wood. She and her late husband James Ray Hopper lived in Michigan where Ray worked in the auto industry and Christine was a homemaker. She loved to bowl at Cullman Bowling Lanes where her league’s team name was “Christine’s Angels”. She also loved to quilt, sew and bake. She is preceded in death by: Parents, Husband, Son: Mark E. Hopper, Daughter-In-Law: Edie Hopper, Sisters: Eulene Morgan and Faye Wagner.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Jones Chapel First Baptist Church at 1:00 P.M. Interment will be in Vance Cemetery.
Survivors are: Daughter: Linda Joyce (Bill) Cook, Sons: Charlie Hopper, David A. (Paula) Hopper, Sisters: Erlene Rodgers, June See, Joyce Abbott, Daughter-In-Law: Lynn Hopper, 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Jones Chapel First Baptist Church from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
