Mrs. Nix passed away Sunday at her residence. She was born November 15, 1934 to her parents, Robert A. and Mamie Collier Speer. She was a nurse in doctor’s offices for many years.
Survivors include her husband; Harold E. “Shorty” Nix, a daughter; Tracey Ann Nix (Steven) Butts, a son; Timothy Harold (Joyce Robinson) Nix, two grandchildren; Rachel Leann Nix and Timothy Austin Nix.
