Funeral Services for Mildred L. Lacy, age 89 of Hanceville, will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at New Prospect Cemetery.

Mildred was born in Lawrence County on March 16, 1925 and passed away at Hanceville Nursing Home on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She is preceded in death by her paretns, Marvin & Atha Johnson Asherbranner; her husband of 52 years, James H. Lacy; and a baby brother.
Survivors include her Sister - Christine Williams; 2 - Nieces, and one Nephew; 4 - Great-Nieces & 3 - Great-Nephews; and a Host of Great-Great-Nieces & Nephews; and other family & friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, October 30, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
