Nellie is preceded in death by: Son: Richard James Welch, Brother: Junior Thomason, Sisters: Nettie May Ponder, Allie Marie Mayhall; Great Granddaughter: Payten Welch, and her parents: Herman and Clarice Thomason.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Sportsman Lake at pavilion #9 on Saturday May 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Survivors are: Daughter: Tina Welch (Jeff Lee), Sons: Michael (Amy) Welch, Randy (Annie) Welch, Sisters: Willie Lee (Jerry) Crawford, Francis Basinger, Brother: Bobby (Maggie) Thomason, Grandchildren: Steven (Ashley) Pichelmayer, Courtney Frazier (Jacobi) Brewer, Devin Murphree (Trevor Freeman), Haley Welch, Cannin Murphree, Michael Dakota Welch, Ashley McMinn (Anthony McMinn), Dylan Welch, Amanda Wood (Grayson) Great Grandchildren: Kaygen Welch, Kayce Welch, Kylan Welch, Noah Brewer, Walker Payne, Maddie Payne, Billy Wood.
