Pauline Evans

Pauline Linton Evans departed this life peacefully Sunday, November 6th, 2022 at Woodland Nursing Home. Polly was born April 1, 1932 in Cullman, Alabama to Otto Calvin and Lola Adams Linton. She enjoyed 90 wonderful years of life.

Polly was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Arnold Calvin Evans; her parents and three (3) brothers and sisters: Clarence Linton; Beatrice Linton Chambers; and Cecil Linton.

Survivors include her sister, Susie Linton Estes; her brother, Morris (Alice) Linton; her sister-in-law, Sue Linton; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.

A long-time resident of Fairview, Polly was employed by King Edward Cigars; Shaw’s Restaurant; People’s Bank, and Gold Kist. Following her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, walking, and spending time with her family. Polly attended and supported Mt. Vernon Baptist Church throughout her life.

Visitation will be at Moss Services Funeral Home starting at 11:00am on Saturday, November 12, 2022, with the funeral following at noon, in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Cullman Memory Gardens.
