

Mr. Robert Quentin Harper of Cullman Alabama passed away on May 1, 2010 at his residence at the age of 91. Mr. Harper was born on April 15, 1919 in Cullman County to Chester A. and Arizona Pierce Harper. Mr. Harper is preceded in death by: Parents, Son: David Harper and Sister: Janette Walker.
Mr. Harper served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was also a Mason.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Butler and Rev. Richard Sailor officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Harper will lie in state at the church from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be: Robert David Harper, Tim Whatley, Christopher Whatley, Danny (Boone) Hunter, Shane Carlton, Adam Carlton, Carl Lewis and Thomas Formby.
Mr. Harper is survived by his loving wife of 61 years: Ruby Walton Harper, 1 Daughter: Mary Jo Harper Newman, 1 Brother: Jake W. Harper, 5 Sisters: Florence H. Burns, Flossie H. Haigler, Mary Ellen Valincourt, Bettie H. McCauley and Patti H. Heatherly, 4 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 6 Great Great Grandchildren, Many Nieces and Nephews, Special friends: Louis Keeton, Danny (Boone) and Sherrie Hunter, Megan and Sam Hunter and Kenneth & Sheila Burks and Family.
