Mr. Ronald Wesley Hood

Funeral Services for Mr. Ronald Wesley Hood, age 55 of Arley, will be Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Nesmith.

Mr. Hood passed away Friday, January 6, 2012 in Texas. He was born to Charles Wesley and Carol Gable Hood in Moulton on November 2, 1956.

Ronald, for more than 30 years, had been a truck driver, driving single and team driving. He spent two years in the U.S. Marine Corps, enjoyed riding and breaking horses; and when he felt like it, could play and sing on his guitar. He is preceded in death by one brother, Mike Hood.

Survivors include his Wife – Onnave Hood; one Son – John Wesley (Sara) Hood; three 3 – Daughters – Stacy (Heath) Knighten, Tracy (Joe) Duke and Stephanie (Bart) Wise; his Parents – Charles Wesley and Carol Hood; eleven 11 – Grandchildren – Benjamin Hood; Kyler, Kaylie, Kollin & Kesley Knighten; Cannon & Caden Duke; Hagen Harris; Owen Bates, Alex & Austin Wise; and “number 12 on the way”.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
