Arvel Lorenzo Kohne

Arvel Kohne, 70, of Brandy Station, VA, passed away in the Culpeper Regional Hospital Wednesday, August 28, 2013. Mr. Kohne was born to Arvel Kohne and Retta Heavner Kohne in Rawlings, MD, May 1, 1943. Mr. Kohne was self-employed as a recyclist.

Surviving Mr. Kohne is his wife Betty of Brandy Station, VA; his children, Arvel Kohne, Jr. of Brandy Station, VA, Robert Hanson of Culpeper, VA, Thomas Hanson of Marshall, VA, Rena Santoya of Tucson, AZ, and Ann Runion of Manassas, VA; his siblings, Leroy Kohne of Fredericksburg, VA, Arvetta Mintlero of Fredericksburg, VA, Ruby Horseman of Augusta, WV, Janette Gibson of Augusta, WV and Nancy Kohne of Alexandria, VA He is preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Ralph, Alvin, Curtis and Martha Kohne and his son, Homer D. Hanson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Casey Yonts conducting the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will be private at a later date.
