Dorothy Mae Fincham Clark, 82, a native of Rappahannock County, Virginia passed away in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal, Virginia on June 10, 2018. Mrs. Clark was born to Homer James Fincham and Verlie Horton Fincham February 17, 1936. She was a homemaker, a caregiver, a farm wife and a child of the Depression.
Surviving Mrs. Clark are her children, John M. Clark, Jr. (Linda), Rhonda Almarode (Randy), Maxie Brown (Mark) and Shirley Baldwin; her grandchildren, Joseph LeSueur, Nathan Almarode, Debbie Knick, J. Stacey Clark, Amanda Pullen, Naomi Baldwin and Tiffany Wayland and many great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Marshall Clark; her sister, Ruth Elizabeth Fincham and her daughters, Betty Pullen and Barbara Wayland.
Funeral services will be in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Bill Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Immediately following interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. After interment, the family will continue the celebration of Mrs. Clark’s life at the Washington Volunteer Fire Department, Washington, VA.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers are Joseph LeSueur, Nathan Almarode, John Clark, Jr., Stacey Clark, Kenneth Horton and Sean Knick.
