Inez Queen Jenkins

Inez Queen Jenkins, 90, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Our Father’s House, Culpeper, VA. Mrs. Jenkins was born October 31, 1926 in North Carolina to Thomas Clingman Queen and Miriam Miller Queen; was active in the Baptist community of Culpeper and Remington; enjoyed Litchfield Presbyterian Church and was active for 25 years as a volunteer with the hospital in Culpeper. Surviving Mrs. Jenkins are her siblings Bess Kirkland and James Queen; her sister-in-law Audrey Jenkins and a number of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Rudolph Jenkins, her son Vance Thomas and her siblings, Felix, Daniel, Vernon and Haynes. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dan Carlton officiating. Interment will be in Remington Cemetery, Remington, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. The family would like to thank those who provided care for Mrs. Jenkins.
