

Lawrence Richard Frederick, 73, of Culpeper, VA, died February 15, 2016, surrounded by his loving family at the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA. Larry was born in Jeffersonville, IN, February 9, 1943, to Joseph Henry and Mary Catherine Frederick.
He is survived by his spouse and the love of his life of 20 years, Judith Camper Frederick. He attended Bellarmine University, Louisville, KY, owner of Frederick Enterprises of Culpeper, VA, a veteran of the Indiana National Guard, and a member of Culpeper Presbyterian Church.
Larry was a life force; people were drawn to his smile, quick wit and kind heart. To know him was to know that his love for his wife and his family, both immediate and extended, was the great passion and motivation for everything in his life. To have known that love was a rare privilege and a huge blessing. In a word, Larry was irreplaceable.
In addition to his spouse, he is survived by Larry and Judy’s children; Margaret Frederick Thompson (Robert) of Richmond, William Joseph Frederick (Sarah) of Culpeper, Lawrence Gregory Frederick (Megan) of Culpeper, Elizabeth Frederick Sewell of Richmond, Carrie Inskeep Heinrich (Ray) of Lynchburg, Leslie Inskeep Kidd (Eric) of Culpeper, and Bernard Carlin Inskeep, III of Culpeper. Also surviving are his grandchildren; William Lawrence Resor Frederick, Austin Frederick Sewell, Luceil Elizabeth Sewell, Storie Gailliez Sewell, Robert Roscoe Thompson, Mary Parker Thompson, Morgan Ras Kidd, Marley Ruth Kidd, Hastings Foote, III, Karrick Edward Foote, Hunter Joachin Foote and Todd Chase Morrison.
Also surviving are six siblings; Frances Schwartz of Clarksville, IN, Joseph Frederick of Louisville, KY, Mary Frederick of Jeffersonville, IN, Edward Frederick of Louisville, KY, Therese Wheatley of Charlestown, IN and John Frederick of Clarksville, IN, 25 nieces and nephews, 46 great-nieces and nephews and 7 great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Alm, brothers; William Frederick and Samuel Frederick and a nephew, Andrew Alm.
Visitation will be held at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Hwy., Culpeper, Friday, February 19, 2016, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in the Culpeper Presbyterian Church, 215 S. Main Street, Culpeper with Dr. Wayne Bernardo officiating. Interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery.
