Norma Jean Duke

Norma Jean Duke, 86, of Culpeper, VA passed away at her residence Saturday, April 2, 2016. She was born in Memphis, TN April 20, 1929 to Allan Philip Andre and Naomi Schneider Andre; served her Lord as a church secretary; was a member of the Culpeper United Methodist Church; volunteered at the Culpeper Regional Hospital Thrift Shop; was a member of the Red Hot Divas and enjoyed playing bridge and watching Oriole baseball.

Surviving Mrs. Duke is her husband of 67 years Dayne of Culpeper; her daughters, Karen Mitchell of Damascus, MD and Debbi Stephenson (Jim) of Monterey, VA; her grandchildren, Kathy Newton (Tyler) of Wilsonville, OR, Pam Carter (Chris) of Richmond, VA, Dani Hunter (Willie) of Hedgesville, WV , Allan Mitchell (Jen) of Eldersburg, MD and her great-grandchildren Mark Hunter and Dayna Hunter.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Culpeper United Methodist Church with Dr. Randy Orndorff conducting the service.
