Ronald L.ee Patterson Sr.

Ronald Lee Patterson, Sr., 79, of Culpeper, VA passed away at UVA Medical Center Wednesday June 29, 2016. Mr. Patterson was born in Minerva, Ohio June 2, 1937 to George A. Patterson and Helen McCormick Patterson. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years’ service, was a war veteran and served all over the world. He was a member of First Century Baptist Church and enjoyed Crosley cars and Farmall tractors.

Surviving Mr. Patterson is his wife Rheba M. Patterson of Culpeper; his sons, Ronald Lee Patterson, Jr. and his wife Betty of Culpeper and David Wayne Patterson and his wife Anne of Madison, VA; his 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and his brothers Roger and Galen Stertzbach.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 11:00a.m. in First Century Baptist Church with interment in the New Culpeper National Cemetery, Chandler Street, Culpeper with military honors. Pastor Lee Brown will conduct the service.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Clore-English Funeral Home from 6:00p.m. until 8:00p.m.
